Ryan Briscoe Races VIZIO Hulu No. 9
“I absolutely think I can win it this year.” -Ryan Briscoe
Ryan Briscoe was the first on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the No. 8 NTT DATA car and the last on the 2.5-mile oval as the second day of practice for the 97th Indianapolis 500 Mile Race drew to a close. It just felt … “normal.”
“When I went out, it was like I never left driving IndyCars,” said Briscoe, the 2012 pole sitter for the 500 Mile Race. “It feels good to be back in the groove of things.”
Briscoe, who competed in 14 races during his first IZOD IndyCar Series season as a teammate to Scott Dixon and Darren Manning in 2005, has seven Indy 500 starts (two top-five finishes, 31 laps led). He’s logged more than a race worth of laps already this week on the 2.5-mile oval in preparation for the May 26 race.

Tonight, VIZIO Continues Into Auto Racing as the No. 15
VIZIO/Hulu Plus car driven by Kyle Larson —is set to participate in The Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown at the Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, Virgina.
In its third consecutive year, the race—featuring NASCAR and Late Model Sportsman drivers—is geared to raise money for the Denny Hamlin Cystic Fibrosis Research Lab at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
Although the race is not televised, you can listen to every turn on MRN Radio online here starting at 5:15pm PT. Be sure to join the fun by tweeting using the various hashtags mentioned in this post!

Tournament of Roses Unveils 100th Rose Bowl Game Anniversary Trophy & Logo
We were excited to take part in The Rose Bowl Game press conference last night. The Tournament of Roses along with its partners, the Big Ten and Pac-12 Conferences, and the Bowl Championship Series unveiled a series of new programs including a new logo and a special edition trophy to commemorate the 100th Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO.
“As the first postseason bowl to reach 100 games, we are excited to mark this momentous occasion with enhancements to some of our iconic marks,” Tournament of Roses Executive Director William B. Flinn said. “We look forward to the events leading up to January 1 to celebrate our illustrious history and for the future of The Granddaddy of Them All.”

100th Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO Press Conference Tomorrow
VIZIO is excited to be part of the official unveiling of the 100th Rose Bowl Game logo, the special edition game trophy and celebration highlights for the 100th game tomorrow evening at the Rose Bowl Stadium.
The present exclusive agreement among the Tournament of Roses Association, the Big Ten Conference and the Pac-12 Conference was born in 1946. The pact is the oldest intercollegiate postseason bowl agreement between two major conferences in the United States, hence the Rose Bowl Game earning the nickname, The Granddaddy of Them All.
Five days after this postseason milestone, the Tournament of Roses will also host the 16th and final BCS National Championship on Monday, January 6, at the Rose Bowl Stadium. This will mark the second time the Tournament of Roses has hosted two postseason bowl games in one week. The last time a national champion was crowned at the Rose Bowl Stadium was on January 7, 2010.

We had a great time at the Long Beach Grand Prix this weekend and we are excited to announce that Damien Faulkner, who started at 17th, moved all the way up to finish at 6th! Congrats on an awesome debut at the Long Beach Grand Prix!

VIZIO Aston Martin at Long Beach Grand Prix
Starting this week in Long Beach, not one, but two Aston Martin Vantage GT4s will be on the grid for the Pirelli World Challenge including the VIZIO and Hulu Plus car.
The VIZIO/Hulu Plus No. 26 Vantage GT4 will be piloted by veteran driver Damien Faulkner. The noted Irishman, who most recently put in a heroic effort in the TRG Porsche at the 12 Hours of Sebring, will be doing double-duty at Long Beach. On Saturday he’ll be co-driving in the ALMS race with driver Ben Keating, then Sunday dedicates his focus to the Aston Martin for the first time this year.

We wish Faulkner the best of luck as he navigates the streets of Long Beach in the No. 26 VIZIO/Hulu Plus Vantage GT4.” said VIZIO CTO Matt McRae.
