VIZIO Takes Indy & Charlotte Race Weekend

It was a great weekend of fast cars and exciting races for the VIZIO IndyCar and NASCAR drivers.

Saturday afternoon saw rookie Kyle Larson dominate most of his competition to take 4th place after starting 18th at the NASCAR History 300 in Charlotte, NC.

Sunday was the biggest day for any race fan with not only the Indy 500 in Indianapolis, IN, but also the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 taking place in Charlotte, NC.

Ryan Briscoe put in a great effort in the #8 NTT DATA car, co-sponsored by VIZIO and HuluPlus at the Indy 500 and secured a 12th place finish for his team. Back in Charlotte, Jamie McMurray endured some problems with his #1 car, which put him in 19th place when the checkered flag waved.

We’re very proud of all of our VIZIO drivers and look forward to seeing Kyle Larson back in the #32 VIZIO/Hulu Plus Chevy for races in Dover and Iowa over the next two weeks.

It’s a big weekend for those of us who are fans of fast cars. Through a partnership with Chip Ganassi Racing, VIZIO has sponsorship of several cars that will be speeding around the tracks in Indy and Charlotte this weekend.

In Charlotte, Kyle Larson will take the reins of the No. 32 VIZIO/Hulu Chevrolet Camero, competing in the NASCAR Nationwide History 300 on Saturday. Tune in to ABC to watch Kyle at 2:30pm ET.

On Sunday, we’ll be rooting for Ryan Briscoe driving the No. 8 NTT DATA Honda, co-sponsored by VIZIO and Hulu as he strives to be the quickest driver in the Indianapolis 500. Tune in to ABC to cheer Ryan along with us. The green flag flies at 1pm ET.

If you haven’t gotten enough racing by the end of the race in Indy, switch over to Fox Sports at 6pm ET to keep an eye on our driver Jamie McMurray who will be racing No. 1 Bad Boy Buggies Chevrolet SS in NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600.

Good luck to all our racers this weekend!
